Photography was always something that John Kubler enjoyed and now being retired, it has become a full time hobby. He worked for over forty years in the sensor industry as project engineer, manager and later as managing director at a US subsidiary of a European manufacturer. He had his own darkroom for many years where he developed b&w and color photographs.
John embraced the digital revolution early on using a variety of digital cameras and now is using a digital SLR system. His main interest is travel photography, wildlife, nature and also his five grandchildren.
He is a member of the Tri-State Photographic Society (TSPS) in the greater Cincinnati OH area. John also received several awards including the “Overall Photographer of the Year” award from the TSPS.
